Mojo’s innocence is refreshing… and a big worrying.

Look, Trez is a scaredy-cat and just went up a predator five time his size. He is allowed to have a crisis.
He is lucky Pup is just a curious, playful girl and not as high-strung as Ulf.

I admit, Mama Brigit is one of my favorite and I wanted her to appear in her full glory at least once in the comics.
She is a ferocious mama bear who hate knowing kids are in danger and, as usual with the women in this comics, Eshu can’t say no to her.

Here comes a new character !
Jacquemart is directly inspired by the automaton ringing bell in some French churches, the Jacquemart.
There will be a one-shot comics about Jacquemart origins. I just need to decide when to put it in.

Take mate in any meaning you want on that one.

I’m puzzled how I, a sarcastic and pessimist person, managed to create such a little ray of light optimistic character….

Years later, I kinda regret a bit my design choice for Jack. Not because of the feminine body, but more about the automaton design.
(yes, he is a he, mainly because he decided he was.)

And this is the other reason why Sad is nicknamed the little whisper of ghost.

Jack’s voice is broken because his jaw got damaged during a fight. He now has no control of the volume and his enunciation.

Trez is… well. A scaredy-cat. And very protective of Sad…

I don’t know, Eshu, maybe put a leash on Mojo?!

I had to redo this page countless times because I wasn’t happy with it, but in the end, I’m still not satisfied…

I’m really, REALLY sorry. I swear, for a while, I even tried to save them, but the story wouldn’t work with two overpowered legendary dolls in the cast.

I may have been a bit too thorough in the « let’s break the cuties » department.

Eshu may be grumpy and rude, but in the bottom of his heart, he is a dad.
(But you have to search toward the very bottom, well under the bark)

At least, Jack can finally introduce Golem to his father…

In another temporal line, Eshu managed to convince Jack to listen to him. Both Jack and Golem didn’t liked the idea of the Witcher brutalizing a little girl and stormed the Pit, rescuing Sunday before adopting all the Dead Tree’s dolls, Lady Mandy included while they were at it and Golem can finally be the lovable baby sitter they always wanted to be and be putty between the hands of the ‘younger’ dolls.
(Jack had to be the strict parent)

So, let’s say she is not the one Mojo took the survival instinct from.
He may get more the ABSENCE of survival instinct.

I made quite a few mistakes in this comics, but this character design? IS. THE. WORSE.
(rapidity wise, of course, I love his design)
