Pif has been living in the Bayou for 15 years now and is protecting the graveyard from the paranormal for about as long. On his scale of values, moving gravestone are barely weirder than a man turning into a wolf and conversely, a talking doll, people manipulating fire, seeing the future or talking to animals.

Worse case scenario, lead work just as well as silver.

Quite strangely, during the first run of the comics, a few readers hadn’t noticed that that werewolves didn’t had a tail until this page.
It’s ‘normal’ in this story, it came from a legend (Slavic or Baltic, I’m not sure) about witches able to take a wolf’s shape, their lack of tails revealing their witchy nature.
