The Good Baron 02

Yeah, the geopolitical situation of the Bayou may be a tad too complicated to understand for a cat. Even a talking one.

The Good Baron 03

Mojo’s voice capacity is incredible for someone who don’t even have lungs.

The Good Baron 04

How does Trez know what happened?
Smell.
And he doesn’t have much compared to a wolf (it’s still too much in the Unresting’s case)

The Good Baron 08

Ah ah ah, yeah, Athanase, do something, and quick, cause noone will like the boss’ intervention.

The Good Baron 10

Hey, Scarecrow, do you want me to wash this mouth with soap? There are children in this room !

The Good Baron 11

I think no one was expecting this in this page.
Not even the Scarecrow.

The Good Baron 12

Ah right, Guilemma and Eshu know each others. And they also love each other apparently.

The Good Baron 15

Ah no, Sunday, it’s not going to be that easy…
Also, there is still two more chapters and an epilogue before the end !

The Good Baron 16

I would say: RIP Morty, but he’s been dead for quite a while already.
As a gift : Morty when he was still alive, (he was a stonemason of the Pit and died falling the wall he was repairing) and the concept art for his character.

The Good Baron 21

There is a little bit too much things happening in this page, are you following?

The Good Baron 22

Yes, he has flowers as eyes.
Believe me, I cursed myself several times for this idea along the pages…

The Good Baron 25

I hope no one among my readers is pyrophobic, because it’s far from over…

The Good Baron 26

This is the panel where Sunday realized she has no control about the situation and probably never had.

The Good Baron 28

And suddenly, the dolls remember him…
Reminder: there was a curse on the Scarecrow so everyone would forget his name.

The Good Baron 29

Happy Halloween !
This is also the comics birthday, because Here Be Voodoo started on Halloween 2012 !
I hope you’re enjoying the comics and are ready for the rest of the ride !
Thanks for reading !

The Good Baron 31

Ok, maybe I’m doing a bit too much in the trauma department for Sunday.

The Good Baron 32

Pif has been living in the Bayou for 15 years now and is protecting the graveyard from the paranormal for about as long. On his scale of values, moving gravestone are barely weirder than a man turning into a wolf and conversely, a talking doll, people manipulating fire, seeing the future or talking to animals.

Worse case scenario, lead work just as well as silver.

Le Bon Baron 34

Oh right, Sunday still didn’t knew Mojo’s name…

And yup, Eshu and Angie knew each others. From a long time ago…

The Good Baron 35

Quite strangely, during the first run of the comics, a few readers hadn’t noticed that that werewolves didn’t had a tail until this page.
It’s ‘normal’ in this story, it came from a legend (Slavic or Baltic, I’m not sure) about witches able to take a wolf’s shape, their lack of tails revealing their witchy nature.

The Good Baron 37

Yes, Eshu and Ulf hates each others too.

Well ,besides Gui and it depends on the time, I think everyone hate Ulf.

The Good Baron 38

No joke, but I think Ulf is the only one with a self preservation instinct in the Bayou…

The Good Baron 41

Yeah, he is still not fully extinguished. Nancy is 100% on the job right now, but she will probably need to get her kids to help.
(She has 5 more)

The Good Baron 42

Yeah, the Witcher has no filter, but well, he is the boos and immortal, he don’t give a shit about politeness.

The Good Baron 48

Sometimes, Ulf forget the Witcher can pick him up and throw him across the room.

The reminder is often painful.

The Good Baron 49

Proof that Ulf isn’t in his right mind, he is worrying about his ‘kids’.
