The Witcher has this infuriating habit of using the dead as relay to talk to people, instead of walking up to them.
Laziness, we can all relate.

Be very happy that, just like Gui, you don’t have the sound.
Because Viviane / Aisha is quick on the curse, especially on her ex.
(Non, Gui can’t really see or hear ghosts. The Witcher can, because he is dead on a technicality)

One of the hardest things I had to balance when I was writing Here Be Voodoo was Naima and Sadiah’s limitations of powers.

If Naima would have been able to see the past and future without the limit of her memory and trance, and if Sadiah could talk to any dead wherever she was, the story would have only last a few pages.

But I didn’t trust my skills to depict it in more details (also, I’m aro ace, (fictitious ) toxic love relationships just feel so illogical to me ^^; )

While I was drawing this page, I had to redo a few times Aisha’s proportions when I realized I was drawing Sunday instead.

You can believe Ulf is currently screaming at gui that being chivalrous right now is a VERY VERY BAD idea.
Unfortunately, Gui can’t hear the dead.
And anyway, it wasn’t as if she was listening to him when he was alive.

In the first version of the story, there was a full subplot about this key and how to prevent the Witcher to get it back, but it made no sense for him to hide it somewhere (he already saw what it did to give his soul o someone he trusted.)

So instead, I decided he was going to hang the key to his neck… And promptly forgot to draw it half the time.

So, I had to cobble an unsubtle revelation.
